Mary (nee De Leo) Wray, 97, of Cedar Grove, formerly of Clifton, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021. Mary was the youngest daughter and sister to Ann, Barbara, Dominick and John and last surviving sibling born to Mary (nee Lupo) and John De Leo originally from Naples, Italy. Born in Clifton, Mrs. Wray resided there for most of her life before moving to the Leisure Village East Community in Lakewood in 1999. More recently she has been residing at the Waterview Center in Cedar Grove.
Mrs. Wray was a parishioner of St. Paul R.C. Church in Clifton where she had been a member of the Leisure Club. As a person who loved to sing, Mrs. Wray was a member of the Choristers while living at Leisure Village East.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Arthur Wray in 1998.
Survivors include: her children, Arthur H. Wray and his wife, Chris of Brick, NJ, John R. Wray and his wife, Mary Beth of Newark, DE, Marilyn Kober and her late husband, Bruce of Denville, NJ and Victoria Tobias and her ex-husband, Frank of Sayreville, NJ; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. The funeral service will be held Wednesday 10:30 am at the funeral home followed by the committal at Crest Haven Memorial Park in Clifton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s New Jersey, 425 Eagle Rock Avenue, #203, Roseland, NJ 07068.
