MaryAnn Pignatore,79, of Lakewood, formerly of Clifton, passed away on January 3, 2021 following a brief illness.
Born and raised in Lyndhurst, Mrs. Pignatore lived most of her life in Clifton before moving to Lakewood two years ago. Prior to retiring, she had been employed as an Executive Secretary with the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey in Newark. She was a former parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church in Clifton and loved to cook her Italian Sunday dinners and to entertain family and friends. But above all else, she adored her family.
Mrs. Pignatore was predeceased by her mother Stella Rosa, father Joseph Rosa and brother Neil Rosa.
She is survived by her beloved husband of sixty-one years, Peter Pignatore, of Lakewood; by her two loved and devoted daughters: Lisa Parker and her husband, Jeffrey, of Watertown, NY and Pamela Nugent and her husband, Kevin, of Clifton; four cherished grandchildren: Mark A. Spranger and his wife, Amber, Brianna Nugent, Nicole Nugent and Christopher Parker; and her adored great-granddaughter, Emma Rae Spranger.
Due to Covid restrictions, a private funeral service for immediate family members only will be held on Thursday January 7th at 10:00am at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church. The mass will also be live streamed for family members and friends who would like to attend online and may be viewed at 10:00am Thursday by clicking here.
