Michael Peter Ciolino, 67, of Little Falls passed away peacefully in the care of his family on Monday January 23rd, 2023.
Born In Kearny, Michael was raised in the Delawanna section of Clifton and had lived in Little Falls since 1989. Prior to retiring in 2013, he had been employed as a Supervisor of Pumping and Generating Operations with the Passaic Valley Water Commission in Totowa for thirty years.
Michael was dedicated to his family and friends, always willing to give a helping hand. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast who rode countless charity rides and long pleasure rides with friends throughout the years. He had been a very active swimmer known for his daily swims at the Boys & Girls Club, innumerable mile-long open water swims in the ocean, polar bear plunges and even swims around Manhattan.
Michael was predeceased by his dearly missed parents: Peter Ciolino in 2011 and Adele (nee Ebro) Ciolino in 2015.
He is survived by his beloved wife of thirty-five years, Laura (nee Van Buskirk) Ciolino, of Little Falls; his three loved children: Peter, Matthew and Marissa Ciolino, all of Little Falls; three dear siblings: Michele Ciolino and her husband, Michael Mooney, of Parsippany, Melissa Acree and her husband, Doug, also of Parsippany and Mitchell Ciolino of Little Egg Harbor; and by five loved nieces and nephews: Derek, Bianca, Mariah, Dylan and Mikayla.
Visiting will be Friday 2-4pm & 7-9pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.
