Michalina DiFabrizio, 81, of Little Falls, formerly of Clifton, passed away Friday, August 11, 2023. Born and raised in Newark, Mrs. DiFabrizio resided in Clifton for 60 years where she raised her family. More recently, she has been living in Little Falls. Before her retirement, Mrs. DiFabrizio was employed as an Event Coordinator with Juvenile Diabetes Foundation in New York City from 1990 to 2006. She then spent six years with Lymphoma Research in New York City in the same capacity. Mrs. DiFabrizio was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church in Clifton. She was active with Seniors Helping Seniors helping coordinate home care for seniors and was a faithful supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Mrs. DiFabrizio was predeceased by her beloved husband, Donato DiFabrizio in 2003 and her granddaughter, Nicole B. DiFabrizio.
Survivors include: four devoted children, Donato A. (Theresa) DiFabrizio, Michael S. (Lara) DiFabrizio, Stephen (Hazel) DiFabrizio and Lisa Marie (Nicholas) Sanchez; her loving grandchildren, Theresa P. DiFabrizio, David J. DiFabrizio, Lauren M. DiFabrizio, Michael J. (Andrea) DiFabrizio, Danielle M. (Frank) Toledo, Rachel A. DiFabrizio, Samantha D. DiFabrizio, Natalie F. DiFabrizio, Stephen M. DiFabrizio, Ronald Zaragoza and Christine M. Sanchez; her loving great-grandchildren, Sadie Toledo, Cole Toledo, Violet DiFabrizio and Austin DiFabrizio; and her dear sister, Mary Ann (Lucien) Nocelli.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 9:00 am from the funeral home followed by a 9:45 am Mass at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton, Entombment will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
