Mirabeau “Bill” Cavallini, 101, passed away on November 10, 2021 after having lived a truly full and rewarding life.
Born and raised in Mocanaqua, PA, Mr. Cavallini had been a resident of Clifton since 1935. Prior to his retirement in 1989, he had been employed as an Allstate General Insurance Agent for thirty years in their Clifton and Fair Lawn offices. He was a Retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel serving during World War II in the 83rd Infantry Division and was a longtime faithful parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church in Clifton.
Mr. Cavallini was predeceased by his beloved wife of seventy years, Annette Mary (nee Molloy) Cavallini, on February 23rd, 2019; by his two dear sisters and their husbands: Dolores and Frank Delitta and Eva and Dan Lenehan; two sisters-in-law: Eileen Molloy and Georgette Ravell Molloy; and three brothers-in-law: Joe Kevin Molloy, Francis (Buddy) Molloy and Edward Molloy.
He is survived by his devoted son, Kevin Cavallini and his wife, Janice DeAngelis Cavallini, of Clifton; by his loving granddaughter, Patricia Cavallini; three nephews: Michael Lenehan and his wife Mary, Tom Lenehan and David Delitta and his wife Maureen; two nieces: Dana Lenehan and Dee DeLitta Boonstra and her husband Tony; sister-in-law Marge Molloy; nephews-in-law Chris, Frank and Kevin Molloy; and niece-in-law Peggy Molloy Schwartz and her husband Dave.
Visiting will be Sunday from 2-6pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral Monday 10:45am from the funeral home and 11:30am at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Entombment Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Paterson.
