Nancy A. Plishka

Nancy A. (nee Lake) Plishka, 56, of Clifton, passed away November 24, 2020. Nancy was a lifelong resident of Clifton. She had been a beloved teacher at Magic Years Preschool in Woodland Park for many years.

            Nancy was a parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle R.C. Church in Clifton and played the flute in the Clifton Community Band. She shared the enjoyment of music with her daughter and loved cheering for her son at his sporting events.

            Survivors include: her husband, Mark; her loving children, Sarah K and Steven N. Plishka; her siblings, Greg Lake and his wife, Karen, Gary Lake and his wife, Denise and Barbara Lake; seven nieces and nephews, Christopher Lake, Andrew Lake, Megan Beltran, Patrick Lake, Kristen Gerhardt, Kelly Lake and Brian Lake and seven great-nieces and great-nephews.

            Visitation will be held Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave, Clifton. Funeral services will be held Saturday 9:15 am from funeral home and 10 am at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair. Due to current restrictions on allowable numbers (50) inside the funeral home, it is requested that those attending the visitation be courteous by limiting their time inside in order to allow others the opportunity to pay their respects as well.
