In Loving Memory of Pandi Qeramixhi
June 30, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pandi Qeramixhi of Clifton, New Jersey, who passed away peacefully on Monday, June 30, 2025, surrounded by his devoted family. Born in Albania, Pandi worked as a truck driver for many years. He took immense pride in his work—always punctual, always reliable. Navigating the icy roads of Albania, he embraced the solitude, beauty, and challenges that came with life behind the wheel.
Beyond his truck cab, Pandi was a loving husband, a caring father, and a cherished member of the Qeramixhi family. He and his family moved to the United States in March of 1996, settling in Queens, NY, before relocating to Clifton, New Jersey in 2003. Pandi found great joy in caring for his grandchildren, picking them up from school, and simply spending time with them. His family fondly remembers him as Gjyshi, always ready to lend a helping hand with a smile.
Pandi was predeceased by his beloved brother, Dhimitraq Qeramixhi, and sister, Efti Sholla.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Efigjeni; son Arben and his wife Iryna, and their daughter Kathryn; daughter Raimonda Rrapo and her son Pandi; daughter Alma Haxhiu, her husband Musa, and sons Egzon and Deni; his sister Irini of Albania; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family who will miss him dearly.
Visiting hours will be held at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton, on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
A Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 818 Valley Rd, Clifton, followed by burial at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Avenue, Clifton, New Jersey 07014.
“Keep on truckin’, Pandi—you’ve reached your final stop. Rest easy now.”
