Patricia Ann Heffran, 77, of Totowa, passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021. Born and raised in Paterson, Patricia resided on Atlantic Street most of her life before moving to Totowa a little over a year ago.
Before her retirement, Patricia was employed as a teacher with the Paterson Board of Education at School # 20.
Patricia was a faithful parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church in Clifton and a former parishioner of St. Agnes R.C. Church in Paterson. She volunteered at St. Joseph’s Home for the Elderly run by the Little Sisters of the Poor in Totowa since she was in high school. Patricia also was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Clifton.
She was predeceased by her parents, George and Dorothy (nee Heslep) Heffran.
Survivors include: her devoted brother, George Heffran and his wife, Doris of Clifton; her niece, Lorrie Zavattaro; her grandnephew, Connor Zavattaro; and her Godchild, Maureen Fiore.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 10 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 11 beginning 9:15 am from the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Mass at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa. Facemasks must be worn. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s Home, 140 Shepherd Lane, Totowa, NJ 07512.
