Petrina C. (nee D’Agostino) Chiodo, 91, of Clifton passed away peacefully in the loving care of her family on June 3, 2021.
Born and raised in Garfield, Mrs. Chiodo resided in Clifton for the past sixty years. As a homemaker, her whole life was her family and providing them with all the comforts of a loving home. She was a parishioner of St. Clare RC Church in Clifton.
Mrs. Chiodo was predeceased by her dearly missed husband, Anthony M. Chiodo, who passed away in 2003; a cherished daughter Mary Christina Chiodo; dear sister Archangela Mecca and her husband, Michael; and dear sister-in-law and brother-in-law Theresa and Joseph Lyons.
She is survived by three devoted children: Patricia C. Buldo and her husband, Ambrose, of Paramus, Barbara A. Caporelli and her husband, Russell, also of Paramus and Anthony D. Chiodo and his wife, Margaret, of Easton, PA; her five cherished grandchildren: Anthony Buldo and his wife Allison, Michael Buldo and his wife Kate, Nicholas Buldo and his wife Jaclyn, Dominic Caporelli and his fiancé Katie and Anthony Michael Chiodo; four cherished great-grandchildren: Ambrose, Isabella, Vincent and Victoria Buldo; and many loved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visiting will be Saturday morning June 5th from 8:30am-9:45am at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton with funeral services to immediately follow beginning at 9:45am at the funeral home and 10:30am at St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, 400 Mt. Prospect Avenue, Clifton. Interment to follow at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi.
