Ralph Hardy, 92, of Woodland Park, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025. Born in Paterson, Mr. Hardy resided in Woodland Park for over 55 years. He was employed with Kearfott Co. of Woodland Park for 48 years. As part of his employment with Kearfott, he was given clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to work on the first space mission to the moon.
Ralph enjoyed the simple pleasures of life such as sitting on his back porch passing the time and tending to his garden. His favorite vacation spots included Woodloch Pines, PA and Ortley Beach, NJ. He was a faithful parishioner of St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Paterson and was a United States Korean War Army Veteran
Ralph was predeceased by his beloved wife, Georgetta (nee DeMarco); his parents, Guy and Marie (nee Scarpa) Hardy; his brother, Karl Hardy and his brother-in-law, Robert James DeMarco.
Survivors include: his two devoted children, Glenn Anthony Hardy and Corinne Hardy; two sisters-in-law, Jean Hardy and Tina DeMarco; and four nieces, Christa Rice, Gina DeMarco, Pam Heinel and Karen Stumpff.
Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 10:00 am at St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, 174 Ramsey Street, Paterson, NJ 07501. Please meet at church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
