Raymond A. Garino, Jr., 79, of Wanaque passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020. Born in Passaic, Mr. Garino (lovingly referred to as “Big Ray”) was raised in New Milford and graduated from Hackensack High School. He was employed for many years in sales with Hackensack Roofing Inc. of Hackensack before his retirement. Although he himself could never skate, he was a huge fan of the New Jersey devils, loved the ponies and was famous for “showing up” for everyone.
Survivors include: his loving companion, Dale Houlis; two devoted children, Janice Gareffa of Hackensack and James Garino of Cherry Hill; one sister, Virginia Seidler; two brothers, Rich and Jerry Garino; and five loving grandchildren, Benjamin, Ryder, Christopher, Nicole and Jason.
Visitation will be held at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton on Thursday, December 31, 2020 from 12:00 noon to 2:30 pm followed by the funeral service and personal reflections.
