Richard B. McKay, Jr.

Richard B. McKay, Jr., 60, of Westfield passed away peacefully on Sunday June 21st, 2026.

​Born in Glen Ridge, Rich spent part of his childhood growing up in Verona and East Brunswick, graduated from East Brunswick High School and for the past twenty-five years has resided in Westfield. Rich honorably served our country as a soldier in the United States Army from 1986-1989 having been stationed in Gelnhausen, West Germany during most of his enlistment. Professionally Rich was employed in sales of outdoor sports equipment throughout his career before recently retiring.

​Rich is survived by his beloved wife, Debra (nee Wolfe) McKay; his brother Brian McKay of Florida; as well as by a large dear circle of friends, both through work as well as socially, that he considered “family”…he will be deeply missed by them all.

​Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday June 26th from 5:00-6:45pm with a Memorial Service to then follow at 6:45pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.
