Obituary
Robert E. Koch, Jr., 71, of Clifton, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023. Born in Paterson, Robert was a lifelong resident of Clifton. After graduating high school, he served in the United States Army and then the Army National Guard of New Jersey. Before retirement, he was employed as an electrician at the former Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford. Robert was a member of American Legion Post #109 of Rutherford.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Debra Ann (nee Flanagan) Koch in 2019; his parents, Robert E. Koch and Florence (nee Burkhart) Koch and one grandchild.
Survivors include: three loving daughters, Bridget Lydick (James) of Clifton, ME, Colleen DeSiervo (Salvatore) of Lodi, NJ and Susan Buttel (Michael) of Clifton, NJ; six grandchildren.
Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
