Roberto Agodini, 57, of Plainsboro Twp., passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday February 22, 2025.
Born in Passaic, Roberto was raised in Clifton and had lived in Plainsboro for over twenty-five years. After graduating from Clifton High School, Roberto earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and went on to earn his Doctorate in Economics from Columbia University. Prior to retiring, he had been employed as a Principal Researcher and was recognized for his outstanding research in the education field with Mathematica Policy Research in Plainsboro. He was an avid drummer whose passion began while a member of the Clifton Mustangs Marching Band in high school and he shared an almost equal love for skiing…especially for black diamond trails.
Roberto was predeceased by his loved and missed father, Claudio Agodini.
He is survived by his loving mother, Anita (nee Tomasic) Agodini, of Clifton; his dear brother Gianni Agodini and his wife, Dawn, of Rockaway Twp.; his two beloved nephews Anthony and Joey; and by his loving companion Julieta Lugo of Plainsboro.
Visiting will be Wednesday from 4-8pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral Thursday 9:45am from the funeral home and 10:30am at St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, 400 Mt. Prospect Avenue, Clifton. Private cremation to follow.
