Ronald W. Weiss, 82, of Clifton passed away peacefully on Monday February 10th, 2025.
Ron was born and raised in Passaic. He then settled in Clifton where he resided for the past fifty-five years. He started working at the Herald News then went into the car business working at Maxon Pontiac. From there, he was able to become a self-employed auto dealer for over 30 years before retiring. Ron was a veteran of the United States Navy. He loved spending his summers fishing and clamming in LBI. Far and above, his greatest joy was being a deeply devoted NY Giants fan having been a season ticket holder since 1976.
Ron was predeceased by his loved and missed parents, Walter and Julie (nee Wudmaska) Weiss as well as by his two dear brothers, Walt & Rick Weiss.
He is survived by his loving wife, Josephine (nee Carnemolla) Weiss, of Clifton; by his four devoted children: Ron Weiss and his wife Kellie of Oradell, Diane Weiss and her husband Gary of Montville, Sue Kean and her husband Ray of Manahawkin and Michael Weiss and his partner Victoria Serino of Poughkeepsie, NY; his two loved sisters: Gail Mazepa and her husband, Stan Sr. of Bernardsville and Marie Clover of Doylestown, PA and two dear sister in laws Ellen and Sue; his twelve cherished grandchildren: Ryan, Tyler, Jessica, Alyssa, Abigail, Justin, Samantha, Lucas, Amanda, RJ, Alexa and Kaiden.
Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-6pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton with a Memorial Mass to be celebrated on Monday at 11:30am at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Please meet at church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org), 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
