Rosalina M. Alberto

Rosalina M. Alberto, M.D., 85, of Passaic passed away on Sunday April 25, 2021 following a brief illness.

Born and raised in the Philippines, she graduated from the University of Santo Tomas before moving to the United States in 1957. Dr Alberto lived initially in New York City before then moving to Passaic where she settled and lived for the past forty years. She had been employed as a Pediatrician at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn before retiring in 2001. She was a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church in Passaic and was an active member of the Passaic Senior Center, enjoyed her trips to Atlantic City and loved her weekly Friday lunch dates with her friends.

Dr. Alberto was predeceased by her loved and missed parents, Pio B. and Isidra (nee Manialong) Alberto as well as by three dearly missed siblings: Pio M. Alberto, Leonila M. Alberto and Eduardo M. Alberto.

She is survived by her five dear siblings: Ligaya A. Custodio, Julieta A. Fonte, Romeo M. Alberto, Gloria A. Osolio and Roman M. Alberto and by her twenty-six loved nieces and nephews.

Visiting will be Friday morning from 10:30am-12:15pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Face masks must be worn inside the funeral home and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to. A livestream of the visitation may be viewed by clicking HERE on Friday during the visiting hours. Funeral services will immediately follow beginning at 12:15pm at the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 1:00pm at Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church, 10 St. Francis Way, Passaic.
