Roseann J. (nee Kortvellessy) Weitner, 81, of Clifton passed away on July 8, 2024.
Born in Passaic, Mrs. Weitner was a lifelong resident of Clifton. Prior to retiring, she had been employed as a Legal Secretary with the Law Firm of Celentano, Stadtmauer & Walentowicz LLP in Clifton for over twenty-five years, having taken a break during her tenure to raise her sons. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church in Clifton for over fifty years and enjoyed traveling, country line dancing, reading and playing Mahjong with her friends.
Mrs. Weitner was predeceased by her beloved and missed husband, Louis Weitner, who passed away on December 24, 2011 and by her dearly missed parents, J. Robert and Elizabeth (nee Saller) Kortvellessy.
She is survived by her two loving and devoted sons: Christopher Weitner and his wife, Jodi, of Wayne and Eric Weitner and his wife, Jody, also of Wayne; by her dear sister, Evelyn Rosky, of Mahwah; and by her four loved and cherished grandchildren: Jackson, Madison, Louis and Erica.
Visiting will be Friday from 4-8pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral Saturday 9:15am from the funeral home and 10:00am at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 ( www.stjude.org ).
