Roy J McTernan, DMD

It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of Roy John Michael McTernan II, 70, of Milford, Pennsylvania. He passed away on April 4, 2025. Roy was born July 9, 1954, in Passaic, New Jersey, son of Roy John and Trudy McTernan. A 1972 graduate of Paul VI High School in Clifton, Roy went on to graduate from Seton Hall in 1976 with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. He furthered his education by earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1985. He went on to open multiple practices and cared for his patients for nearly 40 years. He also devoted time to provide dental care to low-income families and children with special needs. From an early age, Roy was passionate about athletics, playing football through college and coaching numerous youth leagues.

Roy is survived by his wife, Victoria McTernan, daughters Marisa Lynn Saverino and Nicole Danielle McTernan, son-in-law, Ciro Frank Saverino, and granddaughter, Ava Therese Saverino.

Visitation will be held from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. on Monday April 7th, 2025, at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday April 8th, 2025 at 9:15 am from the funeral home and 10:00 am at Saint Philip the Apostle Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton.

Roy will be deeply missed by all those who knew him. He will be remembered by his loved ones for his phone calls, quick and witty humor, love for the beach and a good dessert.
