Sally M. Conselyea, passed away peacefully in the comfort of having her family at her bedside on May 31, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on November 22, 1942, in Paterson, she was a longtime resident of Clifton and lived a life marked by kindness, devotion, and warmth. She was the beloved wife of sixty-two years of Harold J. Conselyea of Clifton.
Sally was the cherished daughter of the late Frank and Madeline (nee Scaglione) Facciollio and the dear sister of the late Frank Facciollio, Jr. She was a devoted mother to Guy J. Conselyea and his wife Cheryl of Landing and Denise Tabler and her husband Scott of Bethlehem, PA. She was also a proud and loving grandmother to Caitlyn Conselyea, Ryan Conselyea, Thomas Conselyea, and Grant Tabler. In addition, she is survived by her aunt, Betty Woods, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will remember her with great affection.
Sally carried herself throughout life with a steady spirit and a gentle heart. She worked as a cafeteria employee for the Clifton Board of Education, where her friendly nature and dependable presence were appreciated by those around her. Her work reflected the same care and dedication that she brought to every part of her life.
A faithful parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church in Clifton, Sally found strength and comfort in her faith was known for her quiet devotion and sincere kindness. She lived her values through the way she treated others, always with compassion, patience, and grace.
Sally enjoyed the simple pleasures that made life meaningful. She loved the beach and the ocean, and she especially enjoyed cruises, shopping, and cooking. These interests brought her joy and gave her opportunities to share time and memories with those she loved. Whether at home or away, she embraced life with a loving, kind, and friendly spirit that touched everyone she met.
Those who knew Sally will remember her as a woman of great warmth and sincerity. She was loving in her family life, kind in her daily interactions, and friendly to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her presence brought comfort and light to her family and friends, and her memory will remain a treasured blessing in the hearts of all who loved her.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-8pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral Thursday 9:15am from the funeral home and 10:00am at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org), 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
