Scott Juengling

Scott Joseph Juengling passed away on February 20, 2025. Scott was born on August 11, 1963 and grew up in Clifton, New Jersey where he learned the value of hard work and craftsmanship.  He was a proud 1981 graduate of Clifton High School.  Early on, he apprenticed in fine woodworking and upholstery at the American Walnut Lounges in Clifton. Scott was a highly skilled furniture maker and upholsterer, known for his hands, his eye, and his dedication to his craft. He later moved to Tennessee to work for his brother Jeff at JJ Contracting.

Scott was the seventh of eight sons born to Richard and Jean Juengling. He shared a deep bond with his family and held a special affection for his brothers, nieces and nephews. He was proud of his role within a large and loving family and was deeply connected to those closest to him.

He is survived by his brothers, Douglas, Todd, Glen, Richard, Jon, and Jeff, along with his many sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. Scott was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Jean Juengling; his brother, Keith; his nieces, Shannon and Joan; and his sister-in-law, Lynne Juengling.

Scott was cheerful, engaging, and generous in spirit. Though he faced personal struggles in life, he was never defined by them.  He will be remembered by his family as a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend – a man of warmth, and a kind heart whose life mattered deeply and whose memory will remain with all who loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on February 7, 2026 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the VFW Hall, located at 491 Valley Road in Clifton.
