Steven F. Amato

Steven F. Amato, 51, of Clifton, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021. He was born and raised in Belleville then moved to Clifton in 1999, where he has since resided. Steven worked in the automobile sales industry throughout his career in the New York and New Jersey areas.

Steven loved playing golf, enjoyed fine dining, and was a devoted New York Yankees fan. He was always the best dressed and the life of the party. He loved nothing more than spending time with his family and friends. 

He is predeceased by his parents, Donald and Norma (Mele) Amato.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jenny (nee Collins) Amato; his devoted son, Anthony Amato; his siblings, Maryanne Amato Ferri and her husband Joseph and Joseph Amato and his wife Doris; his nieces and nephews, Joshua Ferri and his husband, Sean, Jordyn Ferri and, her fiancé Connor, Nicole Roman and her husband, Matthew and, Jessie Amato; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jean and Thomas Collins; his brother-in-law, Brian Collins and his wife, Tracy and their children, Brianna and Bradley.

Visitation is Sunday, July 11th, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will be held Monday 9:15 am from the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Mass at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton.
