Thaddeus Rokicki

Thaddeus Rokicki, 97, of Clifton, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025 with his family by his side. Born in New Britain, Connecticut he was raised in Poland. He returned to the United States when he was 18 years old. He met his future wife, on the ship returning to the USA. He settled in Wallington. He once again met his future wife at night school in Passaic. They married and settled in Clifton where he has resided since. He and his wife, Mary have been together for 77 years and married for 75 years. Thaddeus enjoyed raising pigeons, cutting his own lawn and finding treasures in what someone else has thrown away, he loved to travel and most importantly he enjoyed spending time with family. He was a machinist for Kearfott, Woodland Park for many years before his retirement. He was a faithful parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Passaic where he and his wife were very active.

He is predeceased by his parents; and one sister, Jane Rokicki.

He is survived by his wife, the former Mary P. Unger; two daughters, Eileen M. Malnick and Deborah E. Anfuso and her husband, Jay; two grandchildren, Jamie Van Der Horn and her husband, Brian and Matthew Anfuso; two great-grandchildren, Brennan and Cassadee Van Der Horn; and one brother, Matthew Rokicki.

Visiting Wednesday 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Mass Thursday 10:00 am at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, corner of Hope Avenue and Harrison Street, Passaic, NJ.
