Victor I. Lindo, 71, of Paterson passed away on July 3, 2020.
Born and raised in Peru, Mr. Lindo came to the United States in 1982, settling in Paterson and residing there since. Prior to his retirement in 2015, he had been employed as a Textile Machine Operator with Champion Dyeing, formerly located in Paterson. He was an avid soccer player and fan, especially of his two favorite teams: Sports Boys in Peru and Real Madrid in Spain.
Mr. Lindo was predeceased by his dear sister, Gladys Lindo.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Elena (nee Capurro) Lindo, of Paterson; his two devoted sons: Victor Lindo, Jr. and his wife, Jessica Lucero, of Garfield and Jonathan Lindo of Paterson; three respected brothers: William Lindo of Paterson, Dacio Lindo, also of Paterson and Ruben Lindo of France; and by his cherished granddaughter, Ailani Lindo.
Visiting will be Thursday from 4-8pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral service Friday 9:00 am at the funeral home with interment to follow at Fair Lawn Cemetery in Fair Lawn. Due to current restrictions on allowable numbers inside the funeral home, it is requested that those attending the visitation be courteous by limiting their time inside in order to allow others the opportunity to pay their respects as well.
