Victoria (nee Montalvo) Hernandez, 92, of Clifton passed away peacefully on February 10, 2021.
Born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, Mrs. Hernandez was raised and lived in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico for most of her adult life and more recently had been living in Clifton. She was a homemaker and loved knitting and had been an active parishioner of her Catholic parish in Parcelas Amadeo when she lived in Puerto Rico.
Mrs. Hernandez was predeceased by her beloved and dearly missed husband, Antonio Hernandez Perez; a loved son, Jesus Manuel Hernandez; two dear siblings: Roberto Montalvo and Carmen Purcell; and cherished granddaughter, Megan Harriman.
She is survived by her devoted son, Antonio Hernandez and his wife, Andrea, of Clifton; her dear sister, Hilda Montalvo, of Puerto Rico; three loved grandchildren: Jayde T. Gouveia-Hernandez of Massachusetts, Amber D. Scoggin of Colorado and Edward Harriman of Hoboken; and two adored great-grandsons, Wyatt and Walker Scoggin of Colorado.
Private cremation services were held under the direction of Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Batten Disease Support and Research Association (www.bdsra.org) or to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org) would be appreciated.
