Virginia (Rizzo) Siso

Virginia (nee Rizzo) Siso, 81, of Passaic, affectionately known as Jean, passed away peacefully in the comfort of being surrounded by her caring family on Saturday January 25th, 2025.

            Born and raised in Manhattan, Mrs. Siso had lived in Passaic since 1966. Prior to retiring, she was employed by the City of Passaic for thirty-seven years as a crossing guard. She enjoyed attending tricky trays but her family was her greatest love of all.

            Jean was predeceased by her loved and missed parents, Alfred and Margaret (nee Franz) Rizzo as well as by three dear siblings: Madeline Smith, Margaret Valencia and John Rizzo.

            She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas J. Siso, Sr., of Clifton; her devoted daughter, Virginia Siso; her loved son Thomas Siso, Jr. and his wife, Kathy; two cherished grandchildren: Shauna Kelly and her husband, Billy and Patrick Siso; two loving sisters: Angela Cabezal and Joanne Mistrelli; by her dear sister-in-law Marilyn Smith; and by her many loved nieces & nephews.
