Waleria (nee Bokszanska) Koziol, 93, of Union, formerly of Clifton, passed away on July 24, 2021. Born in Poland, Mrs. Koziol came to the United States in 1962 and settled in Clifton. She resided there until moving to Union four years ago. Mrs. Koziol was a faithful parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church in Passaic where she had been a member of the Rosary Society. She also belonged to the Senior Citizen Club at Ss. Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church in Clifton.
Mrs. Koziol was predeceased by her husband, Antoni Koziol in 1996 and her son, Wieslaw F. Koziol on June 29, 2021.
Survivors include: her daughter, Krystyna Wojciechowski and her husband, Edward of Union; her grandchildren, Susan Ahmadi, Diane Dickinson, Cynthia Wojciechowski and Jill Caixinha; her great-grandchildren, Ryan, Bryanna, Lukasz, Gabriel and Ellie; and her daughter-in-law, Teresa Koziol.
Visiting will be held Thursday morning from 9:15 am to 10:15 am at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will begin at 10:15 am followed by an 11:00 am Mass at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 7 Parker Avenue, Passaic. Interment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
