Walter D. "Buddy" Chandler, III

Walter D. “Buddy” Chandler, III, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024. Born in Paterson, Buddy resided in Clifton for most of his life. Before his retirement, he was employed as a Project Manager with Garden State Roofing in Middletown, New Jersey. He was a member of Union Local #10 of Paterson. Buddy enjoyed attending services at Holy Face Monastery in Clifton.

Buddy was an avid saltwater fisherman. He was known to fish the waters of the Jersey Shore and enjoyed boating in general.  Buddy was a family man. He loved his wife and children but being “Poppy” to his five grandchildren brought him the greatest joy.

He was predeceased by his father, Walter D. Chandler.

Survivors include: his beloved wife, Wanda (nee Martino) Chandler; his children, Gregg Chandler, Jeff Chandler and his wife, Jennifer, Danielle Pocchio and her husband, Joseph and Dana Bazo and her husband Michael; his loving grandchildren, Carmela, Gabriella, Angelo, Giulianna and Liliana; his mother, Irene (nee Mignone) Chandler; three siblings, Dawn Rankin, Beth Skorupski and David Chandler; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Sunday, October 6, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. The funeral service will begin at 4:00 pm.
