Wieslaw “Wes” Koziol, of Clifton, N.J., passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at the age of 72.
Born in Swiebodzin, Poland, Wes came to the United States at the age of 12. New Jersey was his home for 60 years.
Wes embodied a strong work ethic and spent over 30 years at ASCO in Florham Park, NJ as an electrical senior designer prior to retiring in 2019. He was also a proud veteran of the United States Army. Wes had a love for fishing, being outdoors, and handyman work.
Wes was predeceased by his father, Antoni. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Teresa (Petronczak); children, Susan Ahmadi and her husband David of West Orange, N.J., Diane Dickson and her husband Ian of Bound Brook, N.J.; grandchildren, Lukas, Gabriel, and Ellie; sister, Krystyna Wojciewchowski of Union, N.J.; mother, Waleria Koziol of Union, N.J.; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 2nd, from 3pm to 7pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will begin Saturday, July 3rd, 9:15 am from the funeral home followed by a 10am Mass at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 7 Parker Avenue, Passaic. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Saddle Brook.
