William P. Foley, III

William P. Foley, III of Upper Montclair, passed away on Wednesday, November 24th in the presence of his family and friends. He was born William Patrick Foley III on November 15th, 1954 as the son of the late Marguerite and William Patrick Foley Jr. He attended St. Phillip the Apostle school and was a member of the Class of 1972 at Paul VI Regional High School, both in Clifton, NJ. He is survived by his beloved son William Patrick Foley IV and ex-wife Judy Foley née Fleming; his five sisters Regina and William Groman, Marguerite Wright, Joan and Larry Neff, Edna Jane and Alan Jordan, and Ann and Dwayne Fisher, along with many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Fredrick W. Wright. He is also survived by his loving fiancé Deb Ricci and her granddaughter Savannah.  

In 1976, he graduated Boston College with a degree in Business Management which kickstarted a 40+ year career in executive sales for the packaging industry on an international level. He was immensely proud of his Irish heritage, and extremely knowledgeable about Celtic music and culture. In high school, he was an accomplished High Jumper, and in college was successful in Racquetball and Table Tennis. Later, he ran two New York City Marathons and was especially proud of the one he ran with his sister Edna. He looked forward to traveling and exploring new places, with a true sense of wanderlust.  

A viewing will be held at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home at 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton, NJ 07013 on Saturday December 4th from 1pm to 5pm. There will be a short prayer service at 3:00 pm.In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate any level of donation to the Patient Access Network (PAN) Foundation at https://www.panfoundation.org.
