Wolodymyr Boris Rudakewycz, 81, of Cohoes, New York formerly of Clifton, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 18, 2020.
Born in Ternopil, Ukraine he came to the United States at age ten. He resided in the Passaic-Clifton area most of his life moving to Halfmoon, NY seven years ago. Mr. Rudakewycz was an engineer for Exxon Mobil, New York City for thirty years then worked in the IT Department at Seton Hall University, South Orange, NJ for ten years before retiring.
He was predeceased by his parents, Ivan and Irene (nee Rusynka) Rudakewycz; and by his grandson, Andrew Clay.
Survivors include: his wife the former, Daria Bubniak; two daughters, Christine Rudakewycz and Lydia Clay and her husband, David; and two granddaughters, Laryssa and Kaitlyn Clay.
Visiting Friday 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton, NJ 07013. Parastas at 6:00 pm. Funeral service 9:15 am Saturday at the Funeral Home. Mass 10:00 am at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Passaic. Interment to follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery, South Hackensack. Due to current restrictions on allowable numbers (50) inside the funeral home, it is requested that those attending the visitation be courteous by limiting their time inside in order to allow others the opportunity to pay their respects as well. Everyone must wear masks and practice social distancing.
