Zenta (nee Lenz) Bury, 89, of Wayne, formerly of Clifton, passed away on January 30, 2021 with her family by her bedside.
Born and raised in Munich, Germany, Mrs. Bury came to the United States in 1952, settling in Clifton and residing there before then moving to Wayne in 2007. Prior to her retirement in 1991, she had been employed for many years in Customer Service with Shulton Industries, formerly located in Clifton. She was a parishioner of Most Blessed Sacrament RC Church in Franklin Lakes and enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and entertaining her friends.
Mrs. Bury was predeceased by her beloved and dearly missed husband, John Bury, in 2009 as well as by her two dear siblings, Joseph and Leni.
She is survived by her devoted son, Kenneth Bury and his wife, Catherine, of Wayne.
Visiting will be Thursday February 4th from 12:00pm-1:00pm with a funeral service to immediately follow at 1:00pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Interment to follow at Crest Haven Memorial Park in Clifton. Face masks must be worn inside the funeral home and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to. Due to current restrictions on allowable numbers inside the funeral home at one time (50), it is requested that those attending the visitation be courteous by limiting their time inside in order to allow others the opportunity to pay their respects as well. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to either Alzheimer’s Association Greater New Jersey Chapter (www.alz.org/nj), 23 Vreeland Road, Suite 105, Florham Park, New Jersey 07932 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org), 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105 would be preferred and appreciated.
